The annual “chopper drop” was held for the Stephenson, Michigan Lions Club recently. Acting as their main fundraiser, 700 balls are sold and dropped by an Enstrom helicopter onto a golf green. The winner, or winners, receive $10,000. The local Lions Club has given back over $30,000 to local community programs, scholarships, and Lions District… Read more »
National Night Out is a community-building event held around the US in August. It brings neighbors, law enforcement, and local businesses together. In Marinette, WI, just across the river from Menominee, MI, they held National Night Out at the Community REC center.
