Enstrom Makes Connections at Rotors ‘n Ribs 2024

Enstrom at Rotors 'n Ribs

Enstrom Helicopter Corporation returned to participate in the Rotors ‘n Ribs 2024 celebration in Goshen, Indiana.

Helicopter pilots from all over the nation flew into Goshen Municipal Airport (KGSH) for the festival, considered to be one of the country’s premier helicopter fly-ins.

This year, Rotors ‘n Ribs was once again held in conjunction with America’s Freedom Fest on July 13. The airshow and fireworks display typically attract more than 20,000 people. This year featured an F-16 Viper demonstration and parachute jumps by the U.S. Army Golden Knights.

Enstrom was proud to serve as an official sponsor, allowing Rotors ‘n Ribs to remain free to both professionals and the public. In addition to providing sponsorship, Enstrom also provided a sneak peek of a new feature that will make its official debut at EAA AirVenture in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.

Chief Commercial Officer Dennis Martin said, “The 280FX air conditioning system prototype was a big surprise for many. We’ll have much more to announce about that at EAA, but it was great to provide a small demonstration for those who made the trip. On an 86-degree day, it was a welcome relief to sit in a cabin kept at 70!”

Martin traveled to Goshen along with Vice President of Product Support and Quality Assurance Doug Smith and Engineer Philip Heiner. All three took the time to greet Rotors ‘n Ribs attendees and talk to them about the exciting developments happening in Menominee. This was Heiner’s first Rotors ‘n Ribs as an official Enstrom employee. He connected with Enstrom representatives at last year’s Rotors ‘n Ribs, applied for a job, and got it.

Enstrom will return to Rotors ‘n Ribs in 2025. But before then, customers and enthusiasts can connect with Enstrom officials at this year’s EAA AirVenture, which runs from July 22-28. Enstrom will be in Booth #333.
