Enstrom Showcases Helicopters on World Stage at European Rotors
At European Rotors in Madrid, Enstrom Helicopter Corporation displayed to the world once again why its helicopters are so highly regarded in the rotorcraft community. European Rotors, the largest business-to-business rotorcraft event outside the United States, grew even larger in scope this year. More than 5,400 people from more than 80 countries attended the event between November 27 and 30. Organizers also confirmed the participation of 231 exhibitors.
The European Helicopter Association (EHA) and the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) organized the event, with Helicopter Association International (HAI) helping produce.
Industry experts, seizing on the momentum of the European market’s growth, gathered to discuss the future of vertical flight, highlighting exciting innovations and working to anticipate potential challenges. Organizers hosted various safety seminars and career development opportunities throughout the week.
Enstrom representatives enjoyed a well-positioned booth (931), where a representative from the French Enstrom dealer brought a 280FX to display.
“It was a very productive show, and we had a very active booth,” said Enstrom President Todd Tetzlaff. “Enstrom received much interest from prospective buyers, sales representatives, suppliers, and other helicopter manufacturers. Attendees sought us out for discussions – Enstrom was actively on their mind.”
Tetzlaff had the honor of representing Enstrom at the General Aviation Manufacturer’s Association (GAMA) rotorcraft subcommittee meeting held during the show.
He said of the meeting, “It was great to have a ‘seat at the table’ where I could voice our opinion in open discussions among other manufacturers, the FAA, and its European equivalent, EASA.”
Outgoing EHA chair Christian Müller announced in his opening remarks that European Rotors 2024 will take place in Amsterdam, Netherlands from November 4 to November 7. Enstrom officials are now already preparing for Enstrom’s presence at next year’s expo. More information on European Rotors can be found on the official event website.
In the meantime, Enstrom invites stateside rotorcraft enthusiasts to join them at HAI HELI-EXPO in Anaheim, California between February 26-29 at booth 6102.
