HAI HELI-EXPO 2023 Wrap-Up

Enstrom Helicopter Corporation is celebrating a successful showing at HAI HELI-EXPO 2023 in Atlanta, GA.  More than 17,000 industry professionals attended the annual, three-day event. Many of them left the Georgia World Congress Center buzzing about Enstrom’s triumphant return to production and reenergized product line.

Here are some highlights:

Enstrom grabbed the spotlight early in the expo and never let go. Our brand-new Turbine 480B was the first to land at the Congress Center on fly-in day. We were honored to have Jim Viola, President of HAI, join us for the flight. We let Jim take over the controls for the last leg of the trip, bringing us safely into the landing zone. See below for the video.

During the show, Enstrom introduced its new, dynamic leadership team. A crowd of aviation reporters flocked to booth C2820 as new owner Chuck Surack and Incoming President Todd Tetzlaff outlined their vision for the future of Enstrom. Chuck, Todd, and new COO Adam Richardson spent most of the week interacting with customers, demonstrating their passion for helicopters, and proving that the company is in capable hands.

Enstrom made waves at HELI-EXPO with the debut of our new, all-glass instrument panels, which will be available on all 2023 model Enstrom helicopters. We also revealed a new RPM governor for Enstrom piston helicopters designed to aid pilots in maintaining rotor RPM.

“From our kickoff party to the eye-catching booth,  Enstrom had a terrific showing at HAI this year, and we saw a lot of interest in our product,” said Todd. “I was proud to help showcase the ‘new Enstrom’ to both long-time Enstrom fans and rotorcraft enthusiasts discovering us for the first time. We were humbled by the tremendous support and enthusiasm, and we received so many sincere comments telling us, ‘Glad you are back!’”

With HELI-EXPO 2023 in the books, Enstrom will seek to build on its current momentum. You should expect more exciting announcements from us in the coming months. Enstrom is already making plans to travel to Anaheim, CA next year for HELI-EXPO 2024.
