Enstrom Empowers Maintenance Professionals with 2026 Training Courses

Maintenance

Enstrom Helicopter has announced the dates for its biannual piston and turbine maintenance classes, equipping mechanics and pilots with expert training for maintaining Enstrom helicopters. The dates are as follows:

Piston

Turbine

Classes are held at the Enstrom Factory in Menominee, MI for five days per course, Monday through Friday. Each class begins at 8:00 a.m. and ends at 4:00 p.m.

Attendees will learn the subtle nuances of how an Enstrom helicopter operates. Instructors will walk them through inspection procedures, routine maintenance, overhaul, airframe and rotor system troubleshooting, main rotor tracking, and tail rotor balance procedures. Instructors will provide hands-on display models for participants to practice what they learn.

All maintenance courses are I.A. renewal accredited with two options for certification. The first, for A&P mechanics, and the other, for non-mechanics to certify familiarization with Enstrom.

Seating is limited to ten students per course. Enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis. Individuals seeking to attend should sign up as soon as possible, preferably no later than 30 days before the first class of their chosen course begins.

Chip Zeismer, Enstrom’s Repair Station Coordinator said, “We’re always thrilled to open our doors to pilots and mechanics from all over the world. We get to show off the magic that goes into these machines, and they get to learn valuable skills to help improve their operations.”

Participants are not required to take both piston and turbine courses. For pilots and mechanics who have already completed a course, there is no additional cost to retake the course as a refresher, provided there is space available.

“If these dates don’t work for you, but you’re interested in attending, we encourage you to still let us know,” said Zeismer. “We would be happy to offer a third set of training courses if we see sufficient interest!”

Accepted applicants will be responsible for securing all lodging, transportation, and meals. For more information on a maintenance course’s cost, Enstrom’s location, and the application process, click the corresponding links above.
