Enstrom Makes Crucial Connections at European Rotors 2024

European Rotors

Enstrom Helicopter Corporation returned to the world stage this month to participate in European Rotors 2024, the largest business-to-business rotorcraft trade shows outside of the United States.

This year’s event in Amsterdam, Netherlands drew more than 4,600 visitors from around the world, along with 234 exhibitors and 18 helicopters wheeled into the exhibition hall. Organizers focused on themes of safety, helicopter technology, unmanned aerial systems, and urban air solutions.

Enstrom President Todd Tetzlaff and Chief Commercial Officer Dennis Martin spent the exhibition days interacting with many curious customers at booth 5032.

“Europe has a large and diverse helicopter market,” said Martin. “Enstrom already has many customers in Europe, and it’s important to meet with them face to face so that we can learn more about what important to them and how to better support them. As we plan to increase our production and grow our market worldwide, Europe will be key to that growth.”

In addition to the exhibition itself, Tetzlaff also participated in the EASA Rotorcraft and VTOL Safety Symposium. Authorities, industry professionals, helicopter operators, and researchers all gathered to exchange ideas and best practices. Participants discussed topics including operational safety improvements, eVTOL certification requirements, and the future of rotorcraft automation.

Tetzlaff then had the honor of representing Enstrom at the joint General Aviation Manufacturer’s Association (GAMA) and ASD Rotorcraft Subcommittee meeting. The work session highlighted industry initiatives and upcoming EASA updates to CS-27 and CS-29 (small and large rotorcraft).

“It was great to hear many diverse perspectives,” said Tetzlaff. “Though we may compete for business, we all face similar challenges, and we’re willing to share our experiences for the benefit of the industry and to make the skies safer across the globe.”

European Rotors 2025 is set to take place in Cologne, Germany from November 17-20. More information can be found on the official event website. Enstrom will again have a booth to meet and interact with customers.

In the meantime, Enstrom representatives invite rotorcraft enthusiasts in North America to join them at Verticon 2025 (formerly HAI HELI-EXPO) in Dallas, Texas. The event runs from March 10-13.
