Employee Spotlight: Kristi Johnson
“Do what you love and love what you do.” It’s difficult to sum up each of the many facets of my job, but I can honestly say I love all of them.
My name is Kristi Johnson, and I’m the Executive Admin Assistant at Enstrom. I’m the first person you see when you walk in the door, so it’s my job to welcome guests and interviewees and make them feel at home. I also help with data entry and organizing company-wide events, like last year’s American Red Cross blood drive, which proved immensely successful.
I was born and raised in Anoka, Minnesota, but I’ve had the opportunity to live in states and countries all over the Western hemisphere, including Venezuela, Colombia, North Dakota, and Washington State. My husband Scott and I now call Wisconsin home just a short drive from Menominee on the shores of Lake Michigan.
Through my previous work experience at a children’s hospital, a credit union, and a school district office, I’ve gained insight into how best to collaborate with vastly different viewpoints and personalities. My approach is simple: always show utmost professional courtesy to everyone, from the new hire to the CEO.
Scott and I have instilled this mindset into our three grown daughters, who along with their husbands, are our pride and joy. We’ve been blessed with six beautiful grandchildren. Between all of us, we own five golden retrievers, one collie, multiple chickens, and a goose named “Goose.”
I consider my time working with so many incredible people at Enstrom to be an incredible honor. Together, we’ve built deep friendships I believe will last a lifetime.
