Enstrom Helicopters at EAA Airventure

Enstrom at EAA

Everyone at Enstrom is excited to have participated in our first major show after the factory reboot. July 25 through 31 we displayed at the EAA Airventure extravaganza in Oshkosh, WI, and with over 600,000 people attending couldn’t have started with a bigger bang.

The response was fantastic. We had our demo 480B there, complete with a brand new paint job (courtesy of Scheme Designers) and interior (courtesy of Oregon Aero). The aircraft garnered a lot of attention from potential customers, with serious buyers following up and scheduling demos. In addition, we met up with a lot of existing Enstrom owners and had the opportunity to thank them for their loyalty and to update them on our progress at the factory.

However, we weren’t quite prepared for the next part, which was the number of people who came by and said, “We are so glad to see you are back!” I started counting but quickly lost track. It was truly heartwarming to see how many people cared about us and were excited to see us with new ownership and a strong future.

Chuck Surack, the owner of Enstrom, spent the better part of a week in our booth talking with customers. Standing out in the hot sun and pointing out different parts of the helicopter to a showgoer, it was clear that Chuck has a real passion for aviation.

So our first show back was a great success. Now we are on to prep for a few smaller shows this fall, and plans are already underway to kick off 2023 with Heli Expo in Atlanta. Stop on out and see us!
