Employee Spotlight: Kevin Fayta

Employee Spotlight: Kevin Fayta

When one door closes, another opens. My name is Kevin Fayta, and for 36 ½ years, I had grown quite used to going through the same door.

Straight out of high school, I joined an aerospace company then known as ERDA. It’s gone by several names since then, but by the time the company closed its doors in 2023, it was owned by Collins Aerospace.

When I joined Enstrom last October, I wasn’t sure anything could quite take the place of what I’d known for more than three decades. Fortunately, Enstrom proved otherwise. I feel right at home in this community, meshing well with both my new coworkers and familiar faces who joined me from Collins Aerospace.

I take great pride in being a Quality Inspector for Enstrom. I came in already quite familiar with the aerospace industry, having experience with sub-assembly, sheet metal, programming the CNC punch, as well as plastics and paint. At Enstrom, I use this expertise to ensure various parts meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Outside of work, I love coming home to Patti, my wife of more than 33 years. We also have a cat named Buddy. In my spare time, I enjoy hunting, camping, side-by-side rides, and cheering on the Green Bay Packers.

I look forward to being part of the Enstrom family for many years to come, producing the top-notch helicopters we are known for.
