Royal Thai Army Deliveries Pass the Half Way Mark

Enstrom Helicopter Corporation transferred ownership of 4 new 480B turbine helicopters to the Royal Thai Army (RTA) on January 20th in Lop Buri, Thailand.  This acceptance brings the total number of aircraft operated by the RTA to 10, of the 16 training/utility helicopters contracted for the Royal Thai Army.

The 480Bs were purchased to provide entry level, turbine, training for the RTA.  “The program is progressing very well,” said Enstrom’s President & CEO, Jerry Mullins.  “The RTA is certainly putting the aircraft through its paces.  All 10 aircraft are in full training mode and the aviation department is very pleased with the product and the support of Enstrom and its representatives.”

The delivery program is nearing completion as the final two deliveries will be accepted by the second quarter of this year.  “The support infrastructure, which is bolstered by Enstrom’s representation, M-Landarch Inc., is helping Enstrom, and the RTA, enjoy great success with this program, “said Tracy Biegler, Enstrom’s Director of Sales and Marketing.  “With the final deliveries scheduled to be completed this summer, Enstrom is looking forward to moving into the next phase of this relationship where we will continue to demonstrate our unsurpassed Product Support capability to the RTA.”
